Just out of curiosity, would you describe a couple of the service failures? As you know, I stay there regularly, and I have not experienced this, even since Covid. I have a number of one-week stays booked over the next few months. Regarding Basil, I have never eaten there.
The service for breakfast in Rossini was very slow, nothing terrible but just not listening to requests for coffee, allowing people to use facetime sharing with the room, calling for Chinese tea and getting transferred to a Chinese speaker. Nothing you would really notice unless you are on your 64th stay . but Basil was simply awful.
