In my case looks like I lucked out finding a Filipino crew in Business class. Still be the case now unless changed as it was in 2005 when I went JFK-MNL via HKG in J.
the fliipino crew base actually ISM, SP and BC heavy. The latter being recent post covid hire. It will take some time to move to serving J with the BC hires.
