If the suitcase has been gone for more than 21 days it will officially count as lost and I would go after SAS to get the full compensation of a little over 1288 SDRs.

In any case I would keep pushing SAS and the contracted handler or delivery company. Also make sure to look at what WorldTracer says where your luggage has been shipped to. I would assume based on your information it is somewhere in Amsterdam with the delivery company (which can be horrendously unhelpful).
As a future tip, I have had to deal a lot with lost luggage a lot and so far always managed to get reunited thanks to my AirTag. It has saved me countless of times in discussions of "It is not here", as I could then show them exactly where it shows my luggage to be located. Had to do this in CPH countless of times (baggage is in the holding room, but not yet in the system) or here in Boston, where the delivery company kept claiming that they don't have my suitcase until I told them the address it was at, showed up at their warehouse, pointed to which was mine and then left with it.

Good luck!

Thank you!
its been very hard to contact them and they haven't been all too helpfull.
My assumption is my suitcase which was about 450 euros looked really new (no stickers) and fancy.. possibly stolen as a result ?

I'll try to keep pestering them but i also travel a lot (one flight a week to one flight every 2 weeks on average).. I've only had a delayed suitcase twice.. once it arrived same day on the next flight and another time it arrived one day later at home (with KLM and they were handling it great)... can't say the same of sas.

Airtag is something I've been considering.. currently i use Tile because i use android but only on my really valuable backpack filled with electronics/computers for work.. since if that would get checked in and damaged or lost I would lose in the range of 12 000~15 000 USD minimum. Gladly the suitcase itself wasn't filled with too much other then some clothes and some foam for the new suitcase and a gift of dried elk sausage (legal to take with) from norway... picked up the suitcase at my clients HQ as its a very lengthy and difficult suitcase to order.

Maybe ill get a cheap iphone just to put airtags in all my luggage from now on.. Tile is cool but limited in accuracy.
