Well some people would like to sit farther forward in the plane (mostly so as to be able to get out faster) and are willing to pay for that. And apparently on the A321neo those seats have a little bit more legroom than the blue seats behind. This is supported by the measurement tool in the KLM XR website, but obviously no real-world experience as yet.
