Somewhat related question: what about benefits that come courtesy of Chase cards? If I paid fees for the TK award with the card and manage to switch the FQTS to my UA number, will the baggage allowance kick in?

Is there a way to get Chase Card-linked benefits when issuing awards issued by partners. For example, if I pay for taxes and fees on a TK award with the appropriate card and change my FQTS to UA, will my baggage benefits be applied? I'm not sure what the mechanism is to trigger benefits.
