The primary product any airline sells is transport from A to B. If they don't serve A or B (or C, D, E F....) then there's no product. Doesn't matter how nice the experience is if they don't fly anywhere.
As as noted - AA isn't as much concerned about JSX specifically, as they are about the loopholes the company is operating in.
Nonsense. Alaska doesn’t fly to London or Milan, so its product is also defective? Hawaiian doesn’t serve Washington DC or Omaha - shut them down too?
Product is the airline’s seat, passenger space, service quality and overall experience. On that measurement, across the board, JSX cleans AA’s clock.
Also what alleged loopholes JSX is operating under, which are not loopholes but allowed operations under current regulations, are none of AA’s business. Regulations are the domain of the FAA, DOT and the Congress, not the responsibility of a failing, has-been catastrophe of an airline that should be more focused on creating a better product and experience for its own customers instead of spending time and money crying and complaining about a viable competitor who is offering a far superior product.
