I have stayed in both and I find the M NC a much nicer hotel. The Marriott you are in is in my opinion a total dump where the hotels rooms are in the need for a full reno for the last 15 years.

I am just wondering where the danger comes from, I remember there's some kind of wetland before the hotel; are they afraid that the place gets flooded? Or is it re/ power cuts?
