Not sure about that. But one could try. If it works do report back!

PS Thinking about it a bit more. If you ask for the 241 to be applied to the return, then the computer may ‘force’ it to be applied to the whole booking. In which case it will probably reject it, but knowing BA’s ropey IT there is a minuscule chance it might work.
