don’t get me started on the fact when booking a reservation on UA.com, and even when logged in, I still have to manually enter my contact phone and email (and that of other travelers who are travelers in my profile) everytime. But it does populate KTN🤔. And then asks me to check a box to save traveler info - which I’m not sure why if it won’t populate anyway….
So this was my experience as well until this trip. The contact info screen is gone. THANKFULLY!!! But now my KTN number went missing.
BTW, I once added dummy info to that contact screen because it really annoyed me it was "required" but United already had my info! I then got an email a little while later saying my United profile has been updated and if I didn't initiate it I need to call them. Of course I had no clue the info I added was going to my profile so I immediately went online and changed my password. Turns out the 'dummy' info I entered was now part of my profile. I've since deleted it and my account has not been hacked after all.
