How are the rooms?
116sqm (88sqm room + 28sqm balcony). West wing of building with Toyokuni Shrine and Kyoto Great Buddha Hall Ruins Green Park view.

60 inch SONY LCD TV in the living room, 40 inch SONY LCD TV in the bedroom, Marshall Bluetooth Audio, Sofa set, Nespresso, and Spacious view bathroom. Bathtub was one of the best of all my experiences.

Proper workstation in the bedroom. Naturalmat organic mattress. Wall finishing is not a wall paper, but a Japanese Plaster. This is so money spent finishing. No toothpaste, but haveａpaper style one (horrible!)

Which Signature Amenity did you choose and how was it?
You can choose a 50-minutes body massage treatment or a 100 USD dining credit. I choose the latter one. Considered current exchange rate situation, I believe this is the best choice.

How was the mini-bar?
Very small selection. 1x demi bottle of Champagne, 2x Craft Beer, 2x Canned Gin Tonic, 2x Japanese Sake, 2x Ginger Ale, 2x Sparkling Water. and snacks. Soft drinks and snacks are free of charge.

What was your welcome gift?
Savory snack assortment, herb tea, and 2 pcs of apples.

How was the free breakfast?
Excellent quality, but the number of buffet selections has decreased.

What was good?
++++++++++ Guest recognition
++++++++++ Lot of activities to entertain the guests (at the Earth Lab and Alchemy Bar)
++++++++++ Room (I believe this Suite is the best room in this hotel)
++++++++++ Product qualities of food and beverage
+++++ So many Japanese artworks in the hotel such as wall printings and ornaments

What was bad?
- - - - - - - - - - In-room dining (ordering system is so complicated. Menu is not so attractive)
- - - - - - - - - - Paper style toothpaste (Just a sugar sheet!)
- - - - - the number of breakfast buffet selections has decreased.

Value for $ or Rewards Club Points?
Yes (Expensive though)
