They really need to figure out something with the 777 fleet though (I can't imagine these going away as planned in 2030 given the ever increasing 787 delays)
I don't see any reason for the 77W's to be kept beyond 2030
What is strange however is that Air NZ think they're going to be able to operate with only 22 widebody airframes in 2030 (all 787) when in 2019 they had 29. Despite the original 78K order being to replace the 77E fleet the way they keep talking now the 8x new 787s are to replace the 77W fleet and the other aircraft aren't needed.
