Your access is no longer checked at the desk. I suppose access is now programmed into the wristband, and the moment of truth is at the locker room door. I would even guess your answer is yes. But I do not know.
You could accompany the guest on a first visit, and let them try the locker room door first. You could call this afternoon and ask.
Like many things at the hotel the spa facility is not quite what it used to be. Not that it is not a desirable add-on, if just for the extra shower facility. But it is showing its age. Kind of like me.
