I'm also always with car in KL and found the parking situation at Element just terrible for ease of access, requiring an already long elevator ride to a huge adjacent parking structure with another elevator ride needed. Even though the people were friendly and room comfort good, I wouldn't come back for this reason alone. LM parking is night and day (a breeze) and while the fee is nominally higher, they waived it on our last stay.
Do agree with the comment that the base rooms at LM aren't the greatest.
Aloft KL Sentral is a no-return at any price for me. Didn't care for the service attitudes I encountered in the least. Aloft Bangkok and the Alofts in Bali and Jakarta are all better, even if their hard product and/or locations are not as good as KL's.
