Yesterday (September 6), I had a one day rental from Budget.. When I arrived at the Budget office there was literally a 100 person line to get a car. After about an hour of waiting with still 30 people ahead of me, I went online and reserved at the next closest rental agency. It was (unsurprisingly) Avis. I then got out of line and walked to Avis. Even then, when I arrived there were about 10 people in line, but at least the line moved reasonably well. When I got to the front of the line, the clerk said, "Well, that's LAX."

I did have Fast Break with Budget but that wouldn't have helped since there was no staff at Fast Break. Anyone who got off there had no chance of getting a car. I don't know about Avis since i forgot to put my Wizard number in.

Obviously, I won't ever rent from these two agencies at LAX ever again. Are others just as bad?

P.S. Budget said the problem was that they didn't have enough people to clean returned cars.
