I think that is a misunderstanding, if Lufthansa provides access to Senators, it should also include *G on hhe flight. I would raise this to Lufthansa, so they can get coms straightened out.
I thgink LH has some sort of special (likely temporary) deal with SAS to allow its customers in whereas *G n
w means nothing to SAS as they have left the alliance.
