these might not make a lot of sense in terms of revenue-generation, but at the very least something meaningful is loaded on the plane instead of a large piece of useless metal

but afterall, most LX A330s are not flying close to their maximum range; most are used on trans-Atlatic to the East Coast of North America, which is just mid-haul;
longer flights to places like NRT, HKG, SIN, SFO, PVG and JNB sees the B77W or A343
Just to refine your suggestion a little … in the back, perhaps they do a section of Premium Plus Economy with bigger and heavier seats and charge more … might as well introduce another variation since they already have like 7 in J, 2 in F … why not also in PE … would be fun. Swiss : if you really do this, please pay me for this copy righted innovation.
