I would agree. Long gone are the course by course meals, attentive service etc. it is pretty much the same meal as domestic east coast. And the crew tend to hide once service is done after an hour. There is often not even real champagne loaded, just some AU or NZ cheapish sparkling.
in Y though, I have found it quite alright. The meal in the cardboard box was fine, regular swing bys with drinks, and getting row 4 at booking is great.
