Just a heads up for those already familiar with the AAA/CAA prepay discussion, this has started showing up when booking Senior rates:
Marriott Senior Discount, includes 62 years and older valid ID required

- Available to guests 62 years of age or older.

- Proof of age eligibility required at check-in.

- Limit of two rooms per night.

Holding Your ReservationTo ensure that you receive this special rate, we will charge your credit card a prepayment of 365.70 USD on September 7, 2024. If the date presented is a past date, the deposit will be due and processed upon confirmation.
This is showing up at some lowly Towneplace and similar properties I've been looking at recently. I hope it is not becoming a trend.
