This April I flew JL43/44 HND-LHR, I flew with JAL to Europe for the first time in 10 years, and I met 2 London based crews in each flight. I talked with them and found they have only about 20 crews in London base and the company are not hiring new crews any more. She said that the company changed their mind to hire more Asian crews. That’s why LHR crews are not working on JL41/42. So I wrote a mail to the company not to close LHR base and the superviser in the customer service replied to me. I think the decrease of LHR crews may be because of a long while in Covid era and reduction of JAL’s flight to Europe when they were bankrupt in 2010. Also I heard from a Japanese crew that Frankfurt base has only 3 crews now.

Now I want information about which foreign crews are working on JL6/5, JL4/3 HND-JFK, JL941/942 NRT-GUM,
and whether SIN crews are working on all flights in TYO-SIN(JL35/36/37/38/711/712) or only on some limited routes. I have a friend who is working as a co-pilot of A350 of JAL and he often goes to New York, he says he often meets HKG crews but he is not sure about SIN crews. So i want to know whixh flights SIN crews are working.
