Weird that when I reached out to the concierge regarding winery bookings she didn't offer me any complimentary options (they all seem to cost money), and when I asked are there any discounts she also said there aren't any. We aren't big wine drinkers so it's one of those things that we would go if it's free, but not go out of our way to pay for them (since, as you said, they have gotten quite expensive). Granted, I did reach out rather late (like the 3 days before my stay), but would've been nice to let me know they ran out of reservations.

I also stayed on a Friday - if you just came back, maybe a weekday vs weekend thing?
