Has anyone been able to add their Delta SkyMiles number to a SAS booking? I have an existing booking which I never entered my frequent flyer number, waiting until the SkyTeam switch. Today I went into the reservation at the SAS website and tried to enter my Delta SkyMiles number but it fails. Delta is listed as an option, but when I try and save it says "Please add a valid frequent flyer number".

Assuming I am able to enter it, are there any benefits for Delta Gold Medallion level (SkyTeam elite plus). E.g. will I be able to get free seat assignments?
