As for location, it shares the same mall as Aloft (half the price) and St Regis (double the price). While Majestic (normally slightly cheaper) is a 10 minute hotel shuttle away.
If I'm in KL proper, Sheraton Imperial is my go to for Marriott. Westin is great location wise but really showing it's age. W is just not worth it if not for the Suite deals they run once in awhile.
LM Putrajaya is also nice (best Exec Lounge cocktail hour spread) and connected to the largest Mall in Malaysia. But housekeeping is hit and miss there.
what's MO ? Mandarin Oriental ?
It depends on where you want to be in KL to determine if a hotel location is good or not. I don't go to the area around the Sheraton Imperial so for me it's not the best place to be. Some people love to be in Chinatown so the 4P is perfect for it. If KLCC is what you want to be around, then the Element has the best location. JW or GH for the Pavilion and Sungei Wang.
I saw a lot of horror reviews of the Aloft saying that they charge you RM150 for stains on the sheet. I haven't stayed there and probably won't because I rent a car in KL.
