I have taken this flight. The CEB DVO leg only has drink service. The DVO DOH service is a late night menu with various light dishes followed by a full breakfast. Obviously you can pick and choose and be served at any time. Interesting route as some of the J cabin is blocked for crew rest.
I appreciate your firsthand experience! Regarding the food, I figured as much. I will have to fill up on lumpia and adobo before heading to the airport.
I am pretty excited for this route. After visiting Tokyo, I am stopping by Cebu to visit some family friends, before returning back home to Ohio. I was going to return back the way I came on EVA, but then saw a fare for J on QR for close to $2,200 all the way back to JFK. So roughly $77/ hour in J. We don't get close to those kinds of fares ex-USA. Plus I'll get to check off the bucket list item of flying around the world in one trip.
