The Pixel 9 looks pretty similar to the iPhone 15 for LTE and 5G bands. Both the Pixel and iPhone have way more bands available than the Samsung S24 official specs list, which isn't surprising since Samsung phones are heavily regionalized to clamp down on grey-market resale.

Any lower down the market ladder (with the exception of the iPhone SE and a-series Pixels) and you start getting even more heavily regionalized to the point that the phone will sometimes barely function off its intended continent.

Also, to respond to a discussion from a few months back, backup calling/IMS works fine on the Pixel 8a, even if the data-enabled SIM is roaming.
