I think this might be the best one liner review, and accurate. I stayed there one night this past weekend - the room was dated, I got a meaningful upgrade to a Park Exec Suite on a $150 rate. Breakfast itself was very good, and appreciate that they had pork stuff on offer, hidden in a little alcove. I echo ElevatorEnthusiast's review of the truffle eggs, were very good. Breakfast service was abysmal. It took longer for for my plain black coffee to come out than my egg entree. Then when I got up to go to the buffet they cleared my table and seated another party there. And that was after the hostess tried to seat me in the annex restaurant space because the main restaurant was full, except nobody had turned on the AC in the annex, so I noped out of that and told the hostess I'll wait on a table in the main space.

Pool service was really good - the guys were constantly running around with buckets of iced down water bottles. The pool was really busy on Saturday, but emptied out Sunday with the start of the work week.

This might be the most confusingly designed hotel I've ever stayed at. Between everything being on different floors, having to be handed a map at check in as if I was at Disney (which wasn't very helpful), and signs that either run out or point to nowhere, I got in a lot of steps trying to find things. A lot of the signs in the hall should say NO EXIT or DEAD END that way, since lots of the halls dead end into stairs or service corridors.

The front desk girl was really gracious and went above and beyond. Gave me 5pm checkout after I told her how late my flight left, and also procured a PH Dubai beach bag for me gratis. All in all a somewhat mixed stay, but for under $200 all in, I can't really complain that much.
