Familiarity must definitely breed contempt as I couldn’t disagree more. Compared to BA, Finnair’s food is more creative, more modern, less overcooked and bigger portions. BA would never serve merguez, for example, and frequently nukes its food so you’re presented with a crusty and charred mess. As for the drinks, they’re also much higher quality on Finnair, and served in Iittala. I honestly thought the AY food was some of the nicest I have eaten in the air.
