Another issue worth considering is whether there's a place in the lobby of the hotel where he can hang out for three hours. Of course at many hotels, a non-guest can just walk right in to a hotel and make themselves at home in a seat in the lobby, But I wonder if an airport hotel would design its lobby to discourage that; they presumably don't want a large number of airport customers crowding the hotel lobby waiting to be picked up or for flights. That said, there certainly are eateries in the lobby that he could hang out in, presumably just ordering a coffee or something minimal (or a full meal if that's his desire).
Thank you… coordinating is a nightmare… hubby cannot get out of hospital earlier… and we have long drive. Resort will not let him on property without us…. Logistical challenges.
