Cheapest FCM upgrade offers on route (with Z bucket open) are generally in line with FC fare differentials on non-stop fares which is $90 on this route (although you can't upfare on a per segment basis on connecting itins). If there is Z bucket open on flight, it will probably not get any cheaper than what you are seeing now.
You must be a lot of fun at parties. Many people, including myself, travel for work, and work pays for our original tickets, which does not allow us to purchase F tickets domestically. So this whole BS you keep writing, "Z bucket is in line with fare difference," means zero to me and others. SO if I only pay $160 for a FCM to F on a route that a Z bucket is $300, I"m still paying less....
