My wife and I pre-ordered our meals for PBI-EWR in F on the first. She ordered pasta and I chicken (one of 2 chicken dishes offered).
My dish disappeared (was not actually available) from that flight so when I boarded, I had to choose from the remaining 2 dishes.
Fortunately there was an acceptable option (a different chicken dish).
I was surprised when there were 7 choices 5 days before the flight. I was not surprised some were not available on the flight.
