I checked my phone and got the message ‘Head to desk 31’ There was no QR code or Barcode showing, even when I clicked on the ‘next’ button. Nevertheless, we dodged round a queue of many dozens of people and joined the MPC queue which had only one other passenger waiting. The guy behind me was Canadian and he also had the message on his phone advising to go to desk 31, no QR code.

We passed immigration in less than one minute. The officer didn't want to see my phone. An excellent, seamless process.

Just a shame the bags took 45 minutes to appear on the carousel.
