Well, found the hotel quite easily. 5 min tops walk from the car park that has a Tesco downstairs and a Premier Inn next door.
Got a 6th floor room. Nice size for one, but could be tight for 2 people?
Some groups of rooms seem to be behind key carded doors that can only be used by certain cards.
Lift needs a keycard just on the ground floor.
Mini fridge wise. 2 cans of "Cano" water, one still, one sparkling.
One mini bottle of milk.
2 cans of Dash fruity water.
2 packs of very nice shortbread.
Few tea bags and Nespresso type pods.
Took breakfast as my Diamond amenity, so will see how that works in the morning.
Few pics of the room:
Two robes, slippers and a laundry bag in a cupboard that opens bed and bathroom sides
Few power points around the room. USB-A, but no C.
Rainfall and normal showers. Lots of pressure that can't be changed, so the floor will get wet. No issues with temperature
Sink with a tap actually over the sink. Like the toggle thing for the water pressure and temperature
Separate sink and toilet / shower areas. Sliding door separates them, but cant be locked
Cupboard with ironing board and iron.
Hallway
Room view. Drawers contain a hairdryer and the safe.
Window view. Some cranes, a ferry and the Mersey
Can just see this cathedral
Under TV cabinet that doesnt seem to do much. Power points in there, so maybe only for your own devices
Shelf with hanging glassware and Nespresso type pods
Really nice shortbread and teas
Mini fridge that came with 2 cans of Dash flavoured water; 2 cans or water (still and sparkling), and a mini bottle of semi-skimmed cows milk
Coffee machine, kettle, fridge etc.
Bed with some cushions to throw on the floor. Soft pillows and pretty comfy.
Breakfast / restaurant area:
(couldn't find me list for breakfast even though I selected it as my Diamond amenity last night. Will see if nothing untoward comes from this
Menu for teas / coffees and some hot items to be ordered. Basic cold buffet type area you can help yourself to.
Cheese omelette
