I have had the first row of the center aisle many times on Polaris flights, and I almost always have trouble fitting my carry-on bag in the overhead, which seems narrower and shallower than the bins over the window seats. Not a deal breaker, but I don't like pre-boarding and sticking my bag on top of the seat next to me, only to awkwardly tell that flyer why I took "their bin".
Usually the bigger footwell on the bulkhead puts these over the top, but I don't intend to sleep on a flight leaving at 10:30am.
The window seat in row 7 should be more tilted away from the aisle than the even numbered rows, correct? If so, that might be the better option.
7A definitely a better choice than 1F.

7A will be oriented exactly parallel to the long axis of the airplane. However, I'm pretty sure that 7A (and 7L), while "three window" seats, have the middle window (which is what you would look directly out of while sitting in your seat) missing.
You may be thinking of the 777 configs. The 767 only has partly missing windows in row 11.
