Starlux's latest Airbus A330-900N B-58305 was basically "thrown" into service without Wi-Fi, and as of Monday Sep 2, Wi-Fi is still not installed. I was on that aircraft for a short TPE-HKG flight and the gate has big signs telling us that WiFi is not available on this flight. Of course it is not a big deal because the On-Air system is useless anyway. I hope it is a sign that they finally realize that they need a new vendor. They are just waiting for some certification before installing them.

Starlux's sixth Airbus A350-900, B-58506, has already worked a nonstop flight to Seattle, so Starlux really needs that 6th A350 as a spare for their current transpacific schedule. But I wonder if they have time to get WIFi or are they waiting for a new system?
