Reading this page, it sounds like, because of my Oneworld status, I can purchase access to Al Safwa lounge for QAR 650. Am I reading that right?

If so, there's a footnote that says that access is limited to 6 hours, with fees to extend. Do you know how strictly they enforce that rule?

I also have a (cancellable) room booked 10 mins away at Ritz-Carlton Sharq Village and I'm trying to decide what to do.

On one hand I will certainly have a more comfortable stay at the Ritz, but it's a bit of a faff commuting + clearing immigration + security + etc. So I assume that I wouldn't really get a good opportunity to appreciate the hotel if I went there. On the other hand I could simplify things by sleeping in one of the Al Safwa bedrooms.

Does anybody have experience/thoughts on this?
The page says not permitted for Al Safwa on Business Lite fares, and all other lounge types costs a surcharge.
