Does that mean Elite Status bonus as part of the Select benefit is not applicable if you participate in this promotion ? For example as a 50K, I will only get 1.5X the bonus points and not the 50% bonus as part of the select benefit.
It means you get 1.5x on the base + COS points and not 1.5x on the elite bonus. Likewise the elite bonus is calculated normally and does not take in to account the extra 0.5x from this promo.
