So I was on yesterday's AF006, and I have to give kudos to the entire crew and how well AF handled the emergency. Thankfully a doctor was on board and the affected passenger was treated until we returned to Paris.

We spent only about an hour on the ground refueling (and restocking on champagne, of course) before taking off for JFK again and arriving about 4 hours later than originally scheduled. I am grateful for Air France operating this flight, after all. Other airlines would have canceled it, especially since no compensation is due in a medical emergency.
