It just seems odd to me that when a person selects a rate from the Marriott website which includes bonus points that they wouldn't be automatic.
I don't think we should have to screen shot everything and assume they will not just give the points/product paid for.
Perhaps it is the world we live in today, but I don't like it.
Coming from IHG, I completely understand and sympathize with this sentiment: it's a nearly unthinkable scenario.
