I was starting to think that possibly the rate of "Bonus Points" was akin to when booking a rate that included say... a gift card... bottle of champagne etc. and may be given by the hotel directly.
It just seems odd to me that when a person selects a rate from the Marriott website which includes bonus points that they wouldn't be automatic.
I don't think we should have to screen shot everything and assume they will not just give the points/product paid for.
Perhaps it is the world we live in today, but I don't like it.
