I am having a similar issue (FB award ticket on another SkyTeam airline), where there has been a significant schedule disruption (departure time changed of... 3 days !), although 5 months before departure.
I booked 2x tickets using FB miles on Garuda Indonesia operated flights HKG-CGK-MEL. I received a notification that my flight schedule got "adjusted" instead of departing HKG at 17:30 on Jan 29th, we are rebooked on a flight departing 3 days later at 14:45. Not very convenient to say the least. Seems like the reason for this is that GA decided to pull that flight that day from HKG. We are not exactly talking about exotic city pairs here, but seems like there are no Garuda operated flights that day from HKG. (CX has flights though, with still some seats available to CGK). My understanding is that since those are AF issued tickets and we are 5 month before departure, I should deal with AF/flying blue with this rebooking request. But I am afraid that since this will be Chinese new year week, they will tell me there is no availability in award tickets that day. So I am not sure what to do first. I of course looked for award availability ex-HKG to SYD and MEL that day on all 3 alliances and there is no much available...
