How do I use public transport to get from NRT to Shinjuku? My hotel is in Kabukicho—not the best area, I know, but I found a great deal on a hotel there using British Airways miles.

Google Maps tells me to take the Skyliner (Keisei-Ueno) to Nippori Station; and then to take the Yamanote line to shin-okubo. Sounds easier than Shinjuku Station (I always find that confusing).

Any tips on navigating to the Skyliner at the airport and where do I buy tickets? Can / should I purchase them in advance? I arrive at NRT on Sept 5th at around 4:30 pm.

Is it like the Narita Express? And how about getting from the Skyliner Nippori Station to the Yamanote line? Any tips there? Going to use my Suica card for that.
