There are just some::
  1. Would the train route be expanded into a loop route (similar to SFO)?
  2. Getting in and out of the airport has become an issue during morning and afternoon peak hours. Cars started forming lines at Dulles toll road.
  3. The hourly parking lots are such a waste of space. Plans should be developed to construct an integrated fixture incorporating daily parking lots and building new entry and exit roads in and out of the main terminal.
  4. Bring more flights from domestic and international competitions to make UA more competitive in all aspects of operations. DCA is distance restricted and BWI is too far for passengers in Virginia and Southern part of MD.

In my thirty years of flying in and out of IAD, I believe I only had one flight deplaned vis Plane-Mate. It was from D (not from the field) to Main Terminal Immigration.
On #2, having the cops aggressively ticket cars who are just waiting would do wonders. I watch them blow whistles at and demand cars move on, and often they move up one zone, see the cop has gone past, and just stop again and gum up the works. If your pax isn't there, loop around or to to the cell phone lot instead of just sitting for 20 minutes, blocking the curb for those of us who actually are trying to get to cars. Departures is somewhat harder in that it's not primarily people pulled over and waiting and blocking things, but having UA down at the far end, way beyond the Daily Garage 2 walkway, doesn't help. Why is the primary carrier at the airport so far from everything?!

DCA is worse IME at peak times for car access to the airport. We were picking a friend up the other day during an evening arrivals bank, and it was a solid 25 minutes from the ramp off the parkway to the curbside pickup area.
