I flew to JFK with AA a few weeks ago, in economy. I paid for MCE, and it was perfectly comfortable for a day flight (I’m also 6’4”), although obviously seats not very wide. Service was fairly terrible, the highlight being when my kids had their headphones in, and didn’t see meals being handed out. The steward didn’t bother to try and get their attention, and just skipped over them after two seconds. We had to call him back…
