I’ve stayed at the Ibis twice now - with another stay due soon - and I quite like the hotel. The location is around a 5 minute walk from the JR and Hankyu stations. It is also connected Underground to the metro and JR stations (it’s around 4 stops to Namba). If you don’t want to take the train to the airport the airport bus is nearby too.
There are lots and lots of restaurants behind the hotel, opposite the hotel and in the Underground shopping centre (where it is located in Umeda is similar to Namba but on a smaller scale).
As a Platinum member breakfast is complimentary - Costa coffee, juices, lots of pastries and salad options but limited hot options. The rooms are a reasonable size for Japan and there is a decent shower (rather than the usual shower/bath combo in Japanese business hotels).
