I know this is an old thread, but it's on topic.

I just registered for the current status match as an EP. I didn't mean to do it today; but I clicked on the Register button from the landing page I got from DoC, to see whether it would work when I was ready, and it immediately popped up a page saying I was registered. Oops.

So I have a trip scheduled for 12 days from now, six nights, and I should be able to get four more within 90 days.

One question that I believe I know the answer to but thought I'd ask for DPs if anyone has them: I assume that nights booked at Hyatt through the AAdvantage hotels (Agoda) portal will not count as "tier-qualifying nights". The Hyatt T&Cs state that nights booked by a third-party do not qualify so there it is, but that would be a boon if they were - earning LPs through the portal, and satisfying the nights to keep status... wishful thinking I'm afraid.
