Just stopped by 9 - 11 Ly Tu Trong. As evidenced by the state of this building, there’s just no way this opening is happening in the next 6 months. The ground floor is completely empty: bare concrete floors/walls. One guy, I assume a contractor, was inside eyeballing the space and outside were a couple guys drinking beer -- I presume, his buddies, watching over as there was no security on duty. Chatted with them and got a “next year” estimate — by which any Vietnamese means after Tet Lunar New Year (in late Jan/early Feb ‘25). If they meant 12 calendar months from today, I wouldn’t be surprised...
