Thumbs down

This is terrible.

Only UGS and 1K members will be able to talk to representatives in the U.S.??

I am merely a Premier now, but:
  • Nearly all of my travel is on paid first class tickets.
  • My average yield for 2004 was nearly $1 per mile.

In other words, I don't fly that many miles on UA, but I pay top-dollar when I do fly.

Frankly, UA can't afford to lose customers like me. And this move will definitely make customer service worse in the short term. (In the long term, who knows, honestly?)

Further, I think that it's disgraceful that UA approaches the U.S. government with its hat in its hand (pleading for subsidies), just before they turn around and send American jobs overseas.
