No the Service Center cannot help if you call them. I used to be able to send an email as suggested by the guide of this forum, but now I would get a canned response to fill out an online support form, which doesn't have an option of redemption issue. They used to be able to forward the email message to the expert department who has more power to assemble these tickets, but they either don't forward it or lose the power. Now all the email response I got after the claim form was the same as the phone agent, no seats can be seen, and always blame it to be a phantom seat if I'm still seeing it. It is getting painful to use lifemiles and it loses values when I have to purchase another ticket just to connect to the flight booked.
