Junior suites have 1 king or 2 queen options, but both appear to have a sofa bed too. And the square footage is listed as the same, and the photos also look about the same - with neither having a bedroom door. Has anyone seen both room types and can explain the difference?

The executive suites are more open concept without a door separating the living room and bedroom. Those suites also have a wet bar, but he did mention not all of them face the mountains. The junior suites DO have a door separating the two rooms (which I feel makes the name is misnomer) and instead of a wet bar have an additional bathroom. Again, I am still unclear how the executive suite is premium and the other standard as the junior sounds better at least to me! Either way, Mark was very helpful and we are looking forward to our stay!

My wife and I loved the Executive suite (open concept, no door between rooms) when we stayed there last year. It felt like there was intention to the design and layout and was perfect for a couple.
If the kids were along, I'd want a junior suite with a door and extra bathroom. More like two regular rooms stuck together, but sometimes that's what you want.
I just got confirmed into an Executive Suite using a TSU, although it is marked as Premium.
Size-wise the Executive and Junior Suites are the same, and as other have noted, the Exec Suite is probably more open, whereas the Junior Suite just has a separate living room, hence there is the option for a King Room or Double Room.
Some have stated, that the Exec Suite face the mountains, which is not necessarily true, not all do (same as not all Junior Suites do). This as per my MHC.
Interestingly, they did confirm the Exec Suite a year out
