Your namesake might see a certain Ricardian vice in hand-waving national cost of living as a finished argument on its own, as if there were no cost-of-living variation between Manhattan and Manhattan, Kansas.
Still, even if we took your chart on face value, and AC offered to pin its pilots’ wages to 9% less than the average of the US3, that would represent a substantial improvement and I suspect they’d sign it today.
