Concierge Service – Expectations & Experiences (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly)

AC offers a concierge service for (a) Super Elites and (b) passengers travelling in international Signature Class - "international" meaning outside of North America.

Their primary purpose is to assist these passengers with their travels, such as making difficult connections or re-booking during IRROPs. A FAQ on basics of the program is in the wiki at the top of the thread.

Concierges are stationed at AC's major stations in Canada as well as major stations outside of Canada. There is also a central concierge office accessible via a 1.8xx number and an e-mail address. The central office is only for Super Elites - passengers with access based only on their ticket only have access to the concierge at the airport.

This thread replaces three long-running threads about what concierges can do, good experiences with them, and bad experiences. Member feedback suggested that these threads often overlapped and a single thread might work better.

Posts prior to this one have been pulled from those threads, so there may be occasional discontinuity.
